- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup oat bran
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp yogurt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
The sugar and oat bran make the scones tasty enough to eat plain. If you plan on putting jam or lemon curd on the scones then you will not need as much sugar.
